(This is a must read upon joining).
Ok so eventually everyone will stumble upon the pages that
are under Show Grounds. Within these pages you will discover
the pages dedicated to horse and rider point updates. Those
boards are where updates will occur. Here is where I want to
display to you how to give yourself horse and rider points and how to gain them more quickly. (Also upon the pages under
Show Grounds you will find the amount of points you need
to reach each level).
Okay, so lets start with the horses...
Horses are able to begin showing when they have earned 25,000
total horse points. There are easy ways for horses to earn these
points which I will explain in the following. (Note there will be
halter events that allow for earlier showing of horses with lesser
points).
To earn points for horses and riders:
(please read the color code)
this means the points go to the rider only
this means that the points go to the horse only
this means that the points go to both horse and rider
100 points - Grooming Session -
a grooming session consisting of 100 words
100 points - Tacking Your Own Horse -
tacking up a horse of your own, consisting of 100 words.
100 points - Lunging Your Horse -
lunging session consisting of 100 words.
100 points - Working on Ground Manners -
a schooling session working on ground manners including:
walking on a leadrope, listening to verbal cues, ect. must be
at least 150 words.
450 points - Light Riding Session -
a light session of walk/trot consisting of 200 words.
550 points - Medium Riding Session -
medium session of walk/trot/canter consisting of 200 words.
650 points - Workout in Discipline -
a workout in the horses' discipline or multiple disciplines if needed.
consisting of 200 words.
250 points - Go For A Trail Ride -
a trail ride post consisting of 150 words or more.
500 points - Stallion Special -
if a stud is bred he automatically earns 100 points for the breeding.
500 points - Brood Mare Special -
if a brood mare gives birth she earns 100 points for herself.
1,500 points - Entry Level Event -
enter a halter class at the horse shows, or a beginner race, or
any entry level pleasure or equitation class and earn points.
**These are just some easy ways to earn your horses points up
until they have 25,000 points when they can begin earning
points through horse shows.
**When horse shows begin the horse and rider points will be listed directly on the list where you view classes.
