Salary: $1,000 weekly plus all profits.
Oversee facilities, staff ect.
Stable Manager: Lou Fleming, 1 position open
$800 weekly.
Keeps track of schedules, lessons and ensures all jobs are being performed by employees.
Stable Hand: 2 open positions
$650 weekly.
Responsible for feeding, mucking stalls, watering and cleaning pastures. Also maintanance of facilities
Exercise Rider/Groom 4 open positions
$350 weekly
Exercise horses according to schedule, groom lesson horses, groom horses when asked by trainers.
Horse Trainer: 1 positions open
$750 weekly.
Responsible for schooling horses, breaking horses and training in disciplines.
Jockeys: 3 positions open
$250 weekly + purses.
Responsible for breezing race horses and riding in races.
Riding Instructors: 2 positions open
$550 weekly
Instruct riding lessons, ensure safety of lesson horses. Also helping in any 4H based events and contests on ranch.
Barn Secretary: 1 position open
$350 weekly.
Keeps track of all messages, registers new students, answers phone calls.
Stallion Handler: 1 position open
$800 weekly + commission
Specialist in breeding, oversees breeding, books breeding (as approved by Lou), handles stallions, transports stallions as needed.
Brood Mare Specialist: 1 position open
$800 weekly + commission
Oversees brood mare program at Heartland. Handles mare, oversees breedings. Cares for foals, begins foal training until 1 year, when horse trainers resume training.
Events Specialists: 1 position opens.
$550 weekly + commission
Oversees all special events including parties, horse shows, races (only on the ranch not at show grounds), weddings, open houses, contests ect.
Trail Guide 1 position open.
$250 weekly.
Guides trail rides for guests and newcomers. May also assist in exercise riding, grooming and lessons if needed.
Handymen: 2 positions open
$350 weekly.
Cares for anything that may be broken of defection.
NOTE: Heartland Equestrian Connection is very big on bonuses based on performance and all salaries are subject to increase upon evaluation.
